On this tour – one of our favourites and close to Central London, we will chauffeur you in your preferred car to the Historic Windsor Castle dating back to the 11th century, where you can disembark and take a stroll around the outer grounds. You can also join a short fascinating guided tour of the magnificent castle and its palatial staterooms. On your way, you will be driven through Eton, immediately adjacent to Windsor passing by the famous school that was founded by Henry VI in 1440.
Nature and Intrigue
Once ready to leave, you will be driven through the stunning Berkshire countryside toward the historic Cliveden House in Taplow, infamous for the scandal named The Profumo Affair that brought down the conservative government in the early 60s, as well as more recently being the country hotel of choice for Megan Markle (now Duchess of Sussex) the night before her wedding to Prince Harry at Windsor Castle. Time permitting, we would be delighted to make reservations for lunch or afternoon tea at this famous grand country estate.
